It is no joke gathering people from all around the world in Molde. Here are some glimpses from behind the scenes in the attempt to fill Per-Olav's shoes.

Activity descriptions

Storlihytta, or Storli Cabin, if that makes better sense:

Storlihytta is a local cabin and viewpoint, a short walk (~1 hour) from the hotel. The walk is on a gravel path. There are no special needs in terms of equipment, except a pair of walking shoes or trainers, and a jacket in case the weather is wet, cold or snowy. Norwegian summer you know. We will walk from the hotel, and there will be coffee, beverages and local specialities at Storlihytta. We will start from the hotel at 10:30. Golf:

For the golfers, we will arrange for golf in the morning at our local golf club. We will play a 9-hole Texas Scramble. Molde is a local 9-hole with a spectacular view. Pick up at the hotel at 10:30. Tee time  is 11:30-12:10. Website: https://moldegolf.no/

O'learys:

O'Leary's is a local sports bar with a lot of live sports, food and beverages. The location is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We will start from the hotel at 12:30, or you can just meet up at O'learys. Website: https://olearys.com/en-no/molde/

Brunvoll BBQ and Games:

The Brunvoll BBQ  and Games is the main event of the weekend. We will all meet at Brunvoll for a good meal, some old stories, games, entertainment, and a good time. Pick up at the hotel at 15.45 and return to the hotel at 22:30.

Tour to Bud:

Bud is a local fishing village with a coastal museum and restaurants. The museum is a coastal fort and coastal culture centre, where Brunvoll has contributed with both artifacts and support. We will go for a guided tour at the museum and for a seafood dinner at a local restaurant. We will go by bus from the hotel to Bud,  pickup at the hotel at 11:00. MFK football match:

Molde Fotballklubb is the local football/soccer club, which is known for being on of the best teams in Norway and has also tried their luck in the Champions League. This evening they are playing Viking (from Stavanger). We will start with some refreshments at the hotel wine bar at 18:00, and walk over to the stadium at 18:50. The match starts at 19:15. The match is outdoors, so bring a jacket if the weather is cold. Website: https://www.moldefk.no/english
