The event represented a strategic investment in the social dimension of sustainability. This is an area of increasing importance in global ESG frameworks. Strong internal cohesion contributes directly to organisational resilience, healthy work environments, and long-term value creation.
The gathering also carried a deeper significance: it marked a celebration of Brunvoll’s exceptionally strong financial results in 2024. These results, which were among the strongest in the company’s history, provided a solid foundation for continued long-term investment in people, modern facilities, and sustainable industrial growth. Recognising this together created a shared sense of pride and highlighted the close connection between Brunvoll’s financial performance and its commitment to social and regional value creation.

The event is a tangible example of Brunvoll’s commitment to wellbeing at work. Social sustainability is not only about policies and frameworks; it thrives in the everyday experience of being part of a safe, trusting, and inclusive workplace community.
Key sustainability outcomes include:
1. Strengthening organisational cohesion
Bringing hundreds of employees and their partners together in a shared environment fosters mutual understanding, trust, and a sense of belonging.
2. Supporting local value creation
With about 50 local suppliers involved, the event contributed directly to the regional economy while highlighting Brunvoll’s commitment to supporting local businesses.
3. Enhancing well-being
Celebrating achievements, connecting people, and sharing cultural experiences are strategic priorities signalling Brunvoll’s commitment to employee well-being.
4. Promoting inclusion across sites
The transport and accommodation arrangements ensured equal access for employees regardless of geography, reinforcing Brunvoll’s commitment to inclusion. Gathering colleagues from all five locations reinforced unity and underlined our Working Environment Policy’s focus on collaboration, strong employee ownership and cross-generational support.
As part of Brunvoll AS’s event weekend, we (MYLDR AS) were brought in to handle the planning and delivery of the programme. By choosing a local partner like MYLDR – which also contributes to the cultural scene through concerts, festivals, children’s festivals and more – the engagement creates positive ripple effects in the local community. It enables us to sustain our operations, continue offering concerts to a broad audience, and give opportunities to artists who don’t need to sell out to be included. Since March 2025, we have delivered more than 50 public events for a wide and varied audience.
On stage, we featured a mix of national artists and local performers, or artists with local roots – with the latter making up the majority.
For Brunvoll’s March 2025 event weekend, we used local subcontractors and local sports clubs on a voluntary basis wherever possible,”
says Espen Iversen, Project Manager Corporate Events at Myldr

Although this was “just a weekend event”, its ripple effects continue throughout the year. Many participants highlighted the value of meeting the entire organisation, strengthening the sense of connection across sites and roles.
The weekend also showed how meaningful it can be when colleagues, local suppliers, volunteers and artists contribute side by side. For Brunvoll, this underscores a simple but important principle: sustainability is not only about technology and reducing emissions, but also about creating a sense of belonging.
