Brunvoll offers a highly versatile range of tunnel thruster units. Each package can be optimized to meet individual requirements: from standard operations to ice class applications, from DP-class thrusters to light auxiliary duty thrusters, with a power range from 100 kW to 2600 kW.
Our complete tunnel thruster packages are designed for easy installation and maintenance. Each unit is supplied from the factory complete with the tunnel section. The tunnel is made of thick steel plate reinforced with stiffener rings. This rigid construction enables easy installation by the shipyard. It also reduces vibration and noise.	Brunvoll tunnel thrusters have now entered their third generation, after a process of constant refinement ever since the delivery of the first unit in 1965.
